Zagreb baseball field gets major upgrade with new lighting and safety features

The baseball field at RSC Jarun in Zagreb, one of the few specialized facilities of its kind in Croatia, has undergone significant renovations following damage from a recent storm.

The facility, which regularly hosts domestic and international athletes and baseball enthusiasts, suffered damage to its protective fences and nets. Employees from the Sports Facilities Management Institution promptly addressed the repairs.

As part of the works, the damaged protective net and dilapidated poles were removed, new triple support poles with protective netting and new LED floodlights were installed. This ensures safer and higher quality conditions for training and competitions, with better lighting for sports activities in the evening hours.
