The approximately one-hour closed-door meeting focused on military production licensing and diplomatic solutions for the conflict. Following the talks, Zelenskyy posted on "X" (formerly Twitter), stating, "I had a good meeting with President Trump in the Oval Office of the White House. Thank you for our joint efforts to protect the lives of Ukrainians and advance peace."

Zelenskyy elaborated that he and Trump discussed Patriot air defense missile production rights and other ideas that could help end the war. He stressed the necessity of restarting diplomacy. Ukrainian officials are expected to arrange further discussions, and Zelenskyy expressed gratitude for Washington's "steadfast support."
