Zhudong Time Traveler Event Offers Immersive Exploration of Hakka Culture

Hsinchu County's Xiao Rusong Art Park is inviting visitors to become "Time Travelers" in an immersive experience designed to explore the rich cultural heritage of Zhudong. The event, titled "Zhudong Time Traveler: Footprints of Culture," offers a unique 180-minute journey through the town's significant historical and cultural landmarks.

Participants will engage in a blend of puzzle-solving, challenges, art, and cultural activities. The experience aims to provide a deeper understanding of Zhudong's identity by guiding travelers through locations such as the Zhudong Train Station, the Central Market, Huichang Temple, and the art park itself. This is not a typical guided tour but an interactive exploration designed to uncover the town's hidden stories.

Five sessions of the "Zhudong Time Traveler" event are planned, taking place on July 18, July 25, August 1, August 8, and August 15. An initial session scheduled for July 11 was postponed due to Typhoon Barway and rescheduled for August 15. Each session has a limited capacity of 30 participants, and registration is available online.

The organizers emphasize that the event encourages participants to "unlock cultural codes" and create their own Zhudong stories through exploration and interaction. The initiative seeks to reintroduce visitors to the human landscape and Hakka culture of Zhudong in an engaging and memorable way.
