Zvonko Veselinović is Guarded by an Active SAJ Sniper: Scheduled for Batajnica, Serving Veselinović

A member of Serbia's elite Special Anti-Terrorist Unit (SAJ), Neđeljko Gole, is reportedly providing security for businessman Zvonko Veselinović, who has been under U.S. sanctions for years due to his business dealings. Gole, 39, from Priboj, is allegedly spending his "working hours" as part of Veselinović's security detail instead of fulfilling his regular duties at the SAJ base in Batajnica.

Sources familiar with the SAJ confirmed this information to N1, stating that Gole has been guarding Veselinović since Igor Žmirić took command of the unit late last year. While Gole's official work schedule is from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, it is an "open secret" that he is not present at the base during these hours, as he is instead protecting Veselinović.

Prior to this assignment, Gole was reportedly the leader of the sniper unit within the SAJ. N1 has officially inquired with the Ministry of Internal Affairs about the accuracy of this information and Gole's current assignments, but has not yet received a response.

This report follows previous N1 revelations that two active members of the Belgrade Gendarmerie detachment, Damnjan Vukićević and Nikola Milutinović, were also providing security for Milan Radoičić and Zvonko Veselinović. Vukićević is reportedly guarding Radoičić, who is on an Interpol red notice for his alleged involvement in an armed attack in Banjska, and also occasionally guards members of Radoičić's family. Milutinović is reportedly working security at facilities in Golija owned by Veselinović. Both Gendarmerie members are from Kosovo, as are Veselinović and Radoičić.
