11 Witnesses Summoned in Febrie Adriansyah Money Laundering Case; 3 Fail to Appear

An investigative team from Indonesia's Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) has summoned 11 individuals as witnesses in a money laundering case linked to former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes, Febrie Adriansyah. The summons was scheduled for Thursday, July 30.

Of the 11 individuals called, eight appeared before the investigative team to provide their statements. However, three witnesses did not attend the scheduled questioning. The Attorney General's Office confirmed the attendance of eight witnesses, including Tan Kian and Ferry Hongkiriwang, while noting the absence of the other three.

From the 11 people summoned by the Investigating Team, eight witnesses were present to fulfill the summons, namely FYH, TK, RT, RY, TH, AEP, TB and ES, while three other witnesses were not present.

Kejagung stated that the three witnesses who failed to appear will be re-summoned for further questioning. The office emphasized that the investigative team is continuing its work, focusing on gathering witness testimonies to strengthen the evidence in the case. Febrie Adriansyah was previously named a suspect in the money laundering case, which involves the discovery of 74 kilograms of gold and Rp543 billion in cash at a residence in Sentul.
