Legislator Li Kun-tse has successfully pushed for the activation of the fourth security inspection line at Kaohsiung Airport, which is slated to open on August 28. Li, along with fellow legislators Lai Jui-lung and Hsu Chih-chieh, conducted an inspection of the airport to assess improvements in passenger flow and the new security line.

Li highlighted that his advocacy for increased check-in counters at Kaohsiung Airport began as early as 2014. He further pursued renovations in 2016, securing NT$62 million for floor repairs and exterior beautification. The legislator also championed the implementation of automated customs services and additional security lines.

Li stressed the importance of enhancing passenger service quality beyond just hardware upgrades. He urged the Civil Aeronautics Administration to focus on improving passenger flow and providing better amenities. These include charging stations, seating with power outlets, moving walkways, children's play areas, and automated docking bridges, all aimed at creating a superior travel experience for domestic travelers.
