Tainan Station to be unveiled in early September

Tainan is set to unveil its new underground railway station in early September, marking a significant step towards the city's modernization. The station is part of the first phase of Tainan's railway underground project, which is slated for completion and operation by the end of this year.

This new urban gateway promises a comprehensive passenger experience. The underground concourse will house a ticketing hall, 12 retail outlets, and various service centers. Recognizing the needs of diverse travelers, the station will also include amenities such as family restrooms, nursing rooms, and a prayer room, ensuring a comfortable and convenient environment for all.

Mayor Huang Wei-che announced the upcoming unveiling ceremony, generating local anticipation for the project's completion. The underground railway is expected to not only improve transportation efficiency but also enhance the urban landscape of Tainan, symbolizing a new era for the city.
