Local media reported multiple explosions in areas near Ahvaz, Andimeshk, and Omidiyeh. Reports of explosions also emerged from the Strait of Hormuz region and near the city of Bandar Abbas, according to Iran's Fars news agency.

These ongoing strikes are intended to hold Iran accountable for its actions and to mitigate the threat posed by Iran's Revolutionary Guards to international shipping. The conflict between the U.S. and Iran escalated earlier this month after Iranian forces fired upon commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.
