140 Projects Honored in Saxony-Anhalt's Structural Change Ideas Competition

A total of 140 projects aimed at shaping structural change in Saxony-Anhalt have been honored in the "Revierpionier" ideas competition. State Secretary Jürgen Ude presented the awards at a ceremony in Zerbst, recognizing winners in the "Reviergestalten" (Shaping the Region), "Zukunftgestalten" (Shaping the Future), and "Gründergestalten" (Shaping Founders) categories. The competition distributed one million euros in prize money.

This year's "Revierpionier" competition focused on education and securing skilled labor, emphasizing the growing importance of early qualification, lifelong learning, and professional reorientation in the face of artificial intelligence advancements. State Secretary Ude noted that the high number of winning projects demonstrates that people in the region are aware of these crucial factors.

The competition saw a record 598 project ideas submitted this year, surpassing previous editions. A jury comprising representatives from municipalities, businesses, trade unions, educational and cultural institutions, and the state government evaluated the submissions to determine the winners.
