19-year-old Mehmet missing for 3 days in Turkey

Authorities in Turkey are intensifying their search for Mehmet Yılmaz, a 19-year-old who has been missing for three days. Yılmaz, who was visiting relatives in Nevşehir's Acıgöl district with his family, left his home on August 17 around 4:00 PM and has not been heard from since.

His last known whereabouts were captured on a security camera, showing him walking along the road near Ağıllı village. This location has become the focal point for the ongoing search efforts. Police, gendarmerie, and AFAD (Disaster and Emergency Management Authority) teams are concentrating their operations in this area.

Despite extensive searches, including assistance from local residents, no trace of Mehmet Yılmaz has been found. His mother, Canan Yılmaz, expressed her distress, appealing for more help from officials. "It's the third day. He's been missing for three days. Today we searched with some of the people of Acıgöl. I can't reach my child, I request more help from the authorities. My child has been gone for 3 days," she said, her voice filled with anguish.
