2. Bundesliga: Cottbus Signs Midfielder Guttau from Aue

German football club Energie Cottbus is strengthening its squad for the upcoming 2. Bundesliga season with the signing of Julian Guttau. The midfielder joins from relegated third-division side FC Erzgebirge Aue, marking his return to a higher league.

Guttau, 26, arrives with a contract for the new season. Head coach Claus-Dieter Wollitz expressed enthusiasm for the transfer, stating, "He combines flexibility and goal-scoring threat from midfield, which should give our team additional impetus.
