"2 METRAI" Presents "Fantastiška diena" and Announces Only Summer Concert

Lithuanian music duo "2 METRAI," known for their humor and self-irony, has released a new song titled "Fantastiška diena" (Fantastic Day). The track, featuring Deividas Norvilas-Deivis and Rafailas Karpis, aims to remind people to approach life with less drama and more laughter.

A fantastic day can be very varied – it can be time with family and loved ones in nature, a fun trip to places not yet explored, or even a journey to a country full of new experiences. A fantastic day is also when you manage to do well what you have been preparing for a long time – for example, a concert, after which you receive sincere applause from the audience. People's smiles, the love of relatives, and the recognition of listeners greatly lift the mood.

Rafailas Karpis describes a fantastic day as varied, encompassing time with family in nature, exploring new places, or achieving a long-prepared goal like a successful concert. He notes that smiles, love from relatives, and audience recognition significantly boost his mood. Deivis offers a simpler view, humorously stating that a fantastic day involves a photoshoot with Karpis, or when his children, wife, or students achieve milestones.

A fantastic day for me is a photoshoot with Rafailas – with him, you constantly get vitamins from A to Z. A fantastic day is also when children finish school, music school, or kindergarten, when students finally finish their studies. Another fantastic day is when my wife doesn't have a headache.

The song itself was born from a desire to encourage people to lighten up. Karpis suggests that good food or spending time with loved ones, perhaps watching a comedy, can improve a bad day. Deivis, however, proposes the most straightforward recipe for a fantastic day: attend a "2 METRAI" concert.

There are various recipes for improving a bad day. For me, delicious food lifts my mood – you can probably see that by looking at me. But sometimes it's enough to spend time with loved ones, go to the cinema to watch a good comedy, or just laugh at your worries and self-importance.

The duo will host their sole summer concert on June 19 at the Palanga Concert Hall. They promise an event filled with their signature blend of music, improvisation, sharp jokes, and entirely unnecessary life advice, aiming to make attendees' lives more enjoyable for at least a few days afterward.
