2027: APC Woos Farmers, Tricycle Owners to Support Tinubu

A strategic mobilization drive is underway in Nigeria, spearheaded by the All Support Groups Network for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and The Progressive Institute (TPI-Abuja). The initiative aims to rally support and secure a target of 27 million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, emphasizing the continuation of his "Renewed Hope Agenda."

To achieve this, we are moving in lockstep with our esteemed partner organizations who represent the core of our productive population, the AFAN (All Farmers Association of Nigeria) who are the foot soldiers of our food security, and RIFAN (Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria) who are the pioneers of our self-sufficiency revolution.

The campaign is actively reaching out to various segments of the population, with a particular focus on rural communities, markets, farms, and urban streets. Key partners in this effort include agricultural associations like the All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN) and the Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria (RIFAN), alongside the Tricycle Owners Association of Nigeria (TOAN), and the Sugarcane Farmers and Producers Association of Nigeria (SUFAPAN).

Alhaji Mukhtar Bala, National Coordinator and CEO of the All Support Groups Network (ASGN), highlighted the importance of these grassroots organizations. He described them as the "foot soldiers of our food security" and "pioneers of our self-sufficiency revolution," underscoring their vital role in both the urban transport sector and the grassroots economy, as well as driving agro-industrial expansion.

Bala stated that these "six pillars" will be instrumental in reaching every village, market, farm, and street to achieve the necessary mandate for Nigeria's progress. The effort also includes the pre-launch of a book documenting the administration's milestones, intended as a tool for public enlightenment and to solidify President Tinubu's legacy over the past three years, citing infrastructural development, economic stabilization, and social safety net expansion as key achievements.
