2027: BOOT Party unveils Ogun governorship candidate

Adekunle Adenuga, the Ogun State BOOT Party's candidate for the 2027 governorship election, has promised to tackle the state's developmental issues with a practical and well-researched blueprint. He unveiled this plan while accepting the party's nomination in Abeokuta.

Adenuga expressed gratitude for the party's confidence, emphasizing his commitment to purposeful leadership. He stated his ambition is not to criticize previous governments but to offer sustainable solutions to the problems facing Ogun State and Nigeria. His development blueprint, he noted, aligns with national goals and could be a model for other states if successfully implemented in Ogun.

"I accept the responsibility of being the flag bearer of this party. For over 16 years, I have dedicated myself to finding practical solutions to the problems confronting our society. We have carefully developed our plans and agenda, and I thank God for giving me the opportunity to begin implementing them in Ogun State," Adenuga said.

Our blueprint is designed for the Federal Republic of Nigeria, but we are starting from Ogun State to demonstrate that it can work."

The Ogun State Chairman of the Boot Party, Abiodun Akerele, stated that the party would prioritize transparency, accountability, the rule of law, and selfless service if elected. He described these principles as the foundation of the party's ideology, operating under the motto "Fiduciary, Obedience."
