2027 Korean CSAT applications open Nov. 24; online info entry starts Nov. 20

South Korea is set to open applications for the 2027 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT), a crucial examination for university admissions. Prospective test-takers can begin submitting their applications on November 24, with an online pre-registration window opening earlier, on November 20.

Despite the availability of online services for inputting application details, the Ministry of Education emphasizes that physical presence is mandatory for identity verification. Applicants must visit designated application sites to finalize their submission, ensuring the integrity of the process.

The CSAT application period will be managed across 85 test district offices and various high schools throughout the country. The ministry has outlined specific procedures for different applicant groups, including current high school seniors, recent graduates, and those with high school equivalency qualifications. Graduates applying from a different district than their high school's location, or those with 검정고시 (high school equivalency exam) qualifications, will follow specific regional application guidelines.
