21-year-old shot dead while driving in Colina

A 21-year-old man was shot and killed while driving a vehicle in Colina on Sunday. The incident occurred on Inmaculada Concepción street, and the victim was accompanied by a 14-year-old minor who was not injured.

Authorities were alerted to the scene after receiving a report of a traffic accident involving a car colliding with a metal awning. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim deceased inside the vehicle, showing multiple gunshot wounds. The victim had no prior police record, and the incident was immediately classified as a homicide.

According to prosecutor Ignacio Pefaur, the victim was driving with a passenger when a second vehicle approached. "For reasons under investigation, they were approached by a second vehicle, from which shots were fired at the first car while in motion, resulting in the driver's death and the co-pilot's unharmed survival in this case," Pefaur stated. "At least there are four bullet impacts in the vehicle, and ballistic evidence has been found, three of them on the ground."
