22-year-old injured in Berlin-Kreuzberg shooting

A 22-year-old man sustained injuries after being shot on Graefestraße in Berlin-Kreuzberg on Friday evening. Police responded to the incident around 8:40 p.m. and provided medical attention to the wounded man before he was transported to a hospital. Authorities have stated that his life is not in danger.

In May, shots were fired at a car on Urbanstraße, with initial investigations suggesting two individuals on a scooter were involved. The passenger reportedly dismounted and fired multiple shots at an oncoming car with four occupants before they fled. The four men in the car were known to police.

Another incident in May saw shots fired at a playground on Urbanstraße at night while a man was present, though he fortunately remained unharmed. Witnesses reported a suspect fleeing on foot towards Hermannplatz. The recurring violence has prompted a significant police response and ongoing investigations into the motives and perpetrators behind these acts.
