4 Tenora's 10th Anniversary Concert Sold Out at Split's Historic Peristil

The renowned Croatian vocal ensemble, 4 Tenora, is set to captivate audiences with a sold-out performance at the iconic Peristyle in Split on July 29, 2026. This highly anticipated concert is a highlight of their 10th-anniversary tour, marking a decade of shared musical journeys, emotional performances, and enduring friendship.

When we realized we would perform at the Peristil for our tenth anniversary, I was overjoyed. We moved the concert from Lisinski, which received great audience reactions, to my hometown Split, and to the best possible stage. We are especially pleased that the tickets are sold out, which is the most beautiful confirmation of everything we have built over the past ten years.

For members Marko Pecotić and Vladimir Garić, the concert in their hometown of Split holds particular significance. Following successful concerts across Croatia, including sold-out shows in Zagreb's Lisinski Concert Hall, the performance at Splitsko ljeto (Split Summer Festival) is considered a special honor. The ensemble views Split as a city that always welcomes them back, and the Peristil as one of Croatia's most unique stages. There, I had the opportunity to sing the lead tenor role in the opera Nabucco under the direction of maestro Nikša Bareza. I remember the summer heat, the demanding costumes, but above all the atmosphere that this noble space provides, it simply takes your breath away.

Garić also reminisced about a past performance at the Peristil, where he sang the lead tenor role in the opera "Nabucco." He described the atmosphere as breathtaking. Fellow member Đani Stipaničev recalled a memorable performance of "Jesus Christ Superstar" in Split, which even earned him a compliment from the late Zdenko Runjić. The group promises a repertoire spanning a decade of their work, including opera arias, Italian canzonas, and Croatian evergreens, aiming to deliver a night of "top-tier music and a memorable atmosphere."
