48 Entrepreneurs Enter Incubation Phase in Cameroon's Mboa Jeunes Créatifs Program

In Cameroon, 48 young entrepreneurs are embarking on a crucial incubation phase for their innovative projects as part of the Mboa Jeunes Créatifs program. Selected from 1,240 applicants, these entrepreneurs will spend several months in an environment designed to mature their initiatives.

The program, implemented by Cameroun Entreprises Développement (CED) in partnership with the European Institute for Cooperation and Development (IECD) and supported by the French Fund, focuses on four strategic sectors: green economy, digital innovation, social and solidarity economy, and crafts and creative industries. This initiative aims to transform promising ideas into viable businesses.

During the incubation, participants will receive advanced entrepreneurial training, personalized coaching, and mentorship from industry leaders and experts. The goal is to solidify their business models, enhance project viability, and prepare them to secure funding. Ultimately, the program strives to foster the emergence of sustainable companies that create value and employment, thereby boosting the economic autonomy of young people in Yaoundé and Douala.
