8 terrorists killed in high-tempo intelligence operations in Balochistan: ISPR

Pakistan's military announced Saturday that eight terrorists were killed in two "high-tempo" intelligence operations in the Kharan and Mastung districts of Balochistan. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated the "intelligence-driven" operations, conducted on June 25 and 26, are part of a counter-terrorism campaign against groups designated as "Fitna al Hindustan." This designation aims to highlight India's alleged involvement in terrorism and destabilization within Pakistan.

As a result of precise and skillful engagement, three terrorists belonging to Indian proxy Fitna al Hindustan were sent to hell while several were injured.

According to the ISPR statement, security forces intercepted a group of terrorists in Kharan district on June 25. A "precise and skillful engagement" resulted in the deaths of three terrorists and injured several others. The following day, a pre-emptive operation in Mastung district targeted the suspected presence of a suicide bomber. An intense exchange of fire led to the neutralization of five terrorists, including the bomber. Weapons, explosives, and motorcycles used by the terrorists were recovered.

During the operation, own troops effectively engaged the terrorist location and after an intense fire exchange, five terrorists, including a suicide bomber, were successfully neutralised.

The ISPR confirmed that sanitization operations are ongoing to find any remaining Indian-sponsored terrorists in the region. The military vowed to continue its counter-terrorism campaign at full pace to eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism. President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif both commended the security forces for their professionalism and determination, emphasizing the need for continued operations until terrorism is completely eradicated from the country. Sharif stated that "the enemies of Pakistan's peace will be given a crushing defeat on every front."
