96-year-old TikTok star 'Grandma Droniak' risks eviction over parties, reaches compromise

Lillian Droniak, a 96-year-old TikTok sensation known online as 'Grandma Droniak,' is facing the threat of eviction from her Connecticut assisted living facility. The facility issued a written warning due to repeated complaints about parties held in her room, which allegedly involved late-night noise and alcohol consumption.

Droniak, who pays approximately $12,000 per month for her residence, has gained a significant following on TikTok for her vibrant online presence. The facility's administration stated that parties are not permitted, and residents must adhere to quiet hours. They also specifically prohibited serving alcohol to other residents, citing safety concerns and noting that guests were seen leaving her room as late as 1 a.m.

Unfazed by the warning, Droniak posted a video of the letter on TikTok, defiantly declaring, "I do what I want. I pay a lot of money to stay here!" Her response garnered widespread attention online. Following the viral videos, a representative for Droniak confirmed that a compromise had been reached with the facility's management. The agreement allows Droniak to continue socializing with friends, but alcohol will no longer be permitted at her gatherings.
