A New General Manager at Roche Algérie

Roche Algérie has announced the appointment of Omani Mohamed Ouali as its new General Manager, taking over from Dr. Khalil Kadaoui. This transition is seen as a significant step in the company's strategy to solidify its role as a scientific and institutional partner within Algeria's healthcare system.

Ouali brings 14 years of experience within the Roche group, having gained international expertise in Basel, the United Kingdom, and through various strategic projects. His previous leadership roles included directing the global commercial strategy for the Neuroscience portfolio, particularly in multiple sclerosis, and spearheading initiatives in lung cancer.

In his new capacity, Ouali is tasked with promoting broader access to innovative therapeutic solutions, reinforcing collaborations with both public and private stakeholders, and contributing to the development of a more integrated health ecosystem in Algeria. Roche Algérie, present in the country for over 20 years, has established itself as a major player in fields such as oncology, hematology, neurology, and ophthalmology, with a team of 70 dedicated employees.
