San Lorenzo's familiar cycle unfolded again. Supporters arrived angry, sang hopefully during the match and left expressing their frustration. The team's uncertain football mirrors an institution marked by disorder and improvisation. Its problems include debts of more than $67 million, four coaches in three months and a campaign that has left it outside the top eight in Zone A.

With Walter Perazzo serving as interim coach, San Lorenzo played with the same emotional volatility that has defined its season. The team showed plenty of nerves, limited tactical clarity and a heavy reliance on individual moments. The winning formula came from the debuting Facundo Farías, whose crosses created danger, and Cuello, who converted one of them with his head.

The result helped calm the atmosphere after the defeat to Instituto and Gorosito's departure. His second spell produced two wins, two draws and four defeats in eight official matches, a 33% success rate. Yet the club's peace remains fragile. Supporters are increasingly impatient with the team's form and the disputes among its directors, while Insúa's expected return has not yet been formally announced.
