AADK deploys Anti-Drug Squad to Sabah with aggressive community outreach

The National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK) is breaking from conventional methods with its "Two-Wheel Anti-Drug Squad" campaign. This initiative employs an aggressive, on-the-ground strategy as part of the "Jelajah Aspirasi Bebas Dadah (JABD) 2026" program on Pulau Banggi, Sabah.

Datuk Ruslin Jusoh, the Director-General of AADK, explained that this approach is designed to ensure drug prevention efforts reach every level of the community. The program focuses on enhancing public awareness about the dangers of drug abuse through close engagement with local residents.

Jusoh hopes this program, the first of its kind in Sabah, will make the community more vigilant about drug abuse in their daily lives. He believes such outreach activities can motivate people to adopt healthier lifestyles and steer clear of destructive behaviors. AADK plans to extend the JABD program across the country to bolster drug prevention efforts effectively and broadly.
