ABank offers preferential loans to drug and medical device makers

ABank is now offering preferential loans to domestic pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers as part of a government initiative. The program aims to bolster local production by providing financing at attractive rates: 3% annual interest for loans up to 10 years and 5% for loans up to 12 years.

This financial support is specifically designed for companies committed to adopting international quality standards like GMP and ISO 13485. Manufacturers can utilize the funds for various crucial upgrades, including modernizing production facilities, constructing or renovating sites, acquiring new equipment, establishing quality control laboratories, and training staff. These investments are essential for aligning production with international requirements.

To be eligible, manufacturers must be registered in the Kyrgyz Republic and have received approval from the Ministry of Health. Loan amounts start at 50,000 som, with a grace period of up to 24 months for principal repayment. "The development of domestic production of medicines and medical devices is of great importance for both the healthcare system and the country's economy," stated ABank Chairman of the Board Tlek Alimdzhanov. He added that the program will help enterprises update their production capacities, meet EAEU requirements, and improve product quality, ultimately strengthening their market positions domestically and internationally.
