ABC Cooking Studio celebrates 8 years in Indonesia with new offerings

ABC Cooking Studio is marking its eighth anniversary in Indonesia by introducing a series of exciting updates designed to enhance the learning experience for its growing community of over 18,000 members. Since its establishment in 2018 with just 500 members, the Japanese-origin cooking school has become a popular destination for culinary enthusiasts across the archipelago.

A key highlight is the introduction of "Cooking Variation," a new class category launching in August 2026. This innovative offering will feature a rotating selection of menus each month, allowing members to explore diverse global culinary trends and techniques. The inaugural series, "Ultimate Korean Flavor Journey," will guide participants through creating Korean dishes like Homemade Kimchi Mandu from scratch, ensuring a dynamic and continuously engaging learning path.

Beyond the monthly menu changes, ABC Cooking Studio is also revamping its "Cake Basic" curriculum, scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2026. This update will introduce 18 new cake recipes that blend classic pastry foundations with modern flavors, techniques, and presentations. The aim is to enrich the baking education, enabling members to strengthen their fundamental skills while staying abreast of contemporary pastry trends.

Furthermore, the studio is bringing back its annual "ABC Masterplate 2026" culinary competition for members. This year's theme, "Zen of Growth," challenges participants to reinterpret traditional Japanese cuisine through their creativity, technical skills, and personal narratives. The competition, which began in June, includes submission periods, a semifinal round, and a Grand Final scheduled for August 8.
