Abia gov pays veteran actress Ngozi Nwosu N25m hospital bill

Abia State Governor Alex Otti has fulfilled his promise to support veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu by approving the payment of ₦25 million towards her hospital bills. The funds were transferred to the hospital where Nwosu is undergoing treatment, according to a statement from the governor's Senior Special Assistant on Tourism and Entertainment, Martins Justice.

This intervention comes after Nwosu made an emotional appeal for financial assistance, revealing that she required ₦30 million for three life-saving surgeries. The actress had been hospitalized for three weeks and expressed her distress over the escalating medical costs, urging fans and well-wishers not to let her die.

Governor Otti's swift action, which followed his approval of the first phase of Nwosu's medical expenses, has garnered commendation from fans and members of the entertainment industry. The governor's support is seen as a significant relief for the beloved actress as she navigates her health challenges.
