Cherubim & Seraphim’s Spiritual Father Emmanuel Alogbo dies at 93

Prophet Emmanuel Alogbo, the revered Spiritual Father of the Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Ayo Ni O, has passed away at the age of 93. The church confirmed his death in a statement released on Thursday, July 30, 2026.

According to the statement, signed by Secretary-General Prophet Anthony Olusesan Samaye, Prophet Alogbo died peacefully at approximately 2:10 a.m. at his residence in Lagos. He was reportedly surrounded by his family and domestic staff at the time of his passing.

With gratitude to God Almighty for a life well spent, on behalf of the Board of Trustees and the entire church, I write to inform you all that our Spiritual Father was called to glory in the early hours of today, July 30, 2026, at about 2:10 a.m.

The church described the late prophet as a devoted servant of God whose life was characterized by an unwavering commitment to the Christian faith and service to humanity. His leadership, which spanned several decades, was instrumental in the spiritual growth and expansion of the Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, both within Nigeria and internationally. He is recognized as one of the country's longest-serving church leaders.

In honor of his memory, the church announced that daily prayer sessions will be held for seven days, commencing at 5 p.m. at his residence. Funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course. The church urged its members to remain steadfast in faith and prayer during this period of mourning, concluding with a wish for his soul to rest in peace and for the church to find fortitude in bearing the loss.
