Abinader to inaugurate educational works in San Juan

President Luis Abinader is set to embark on an extensive tour of San Juan province this Friday, focusing on inaugurating educational infrastructure and launching key development programs. His agenda begins in San Juan de la Maguana with the opening of the Liceo Viola in La Cana de Guazumal, an initiative designed to enhance educational offerings and improve student learning conditions.

Following the school inauguration, Abinader will preside over the graduation of young participants from the "Programa Oportunidad 14-24" in the Southern Region, a program aimed at equipping them with skills for the job market. The president will also attend a loan fair for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, organized by Promipyme, at the Padre Guido Gildea Convention Center.

Further engagements include the inauguration of a roof for the Mercedes Consuelo Matos School, which will provide better facilities for sports and cultural activities, and the groundbreaking for the Plaza Arcasa, a project expected to foster community development. The day's activities will conclude with the launch of the National Agricultural Mechanization Program (Promea), an initiative to strengthen agricultural output by providing farmers with access to machinery and equipment to increase efficiency and productivity.
