Absher platform processes over 50 million electronic transactions in July

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Interior reported a significant volume of digital activity in July, with its electronic platform Absher processing more than 50 million transactions. The platform serves citizens, residents, and visitors, streamlining access to government services.

The Absher Individuals platform was the primary driver of this activity, accounting for over 47.8 million transactions. A notable feature is the digital document wallet, which saw 37 million viewings of documents by users. This highlights the increasing reliance on digital identification and document access within the Kingdom.

Further breakdown shows the Absher Businesses platform processed nearly 3 million transactions. Additionally, key directorates within the Ministry of Interior, such as Public Security, Traffic, and Passports, collectively handled over 3.6 million transactions through the Absher system. The General Directorate of Traffic alone processed over 3.5 million transactions, underscoring its digital engagement.

These transactions are facilitated by unified digital IDs issued through Absher, which enable seamless access to ministry services and other government and private entities via the National Unified Access Portal, Nafath. The high volume of transactions demonstrates the ongoing digital transformation within Saudi Arabia's public services.
