Abu Dhabi urges parents to continuously monitor kids to protect them from summer-related risks

Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority (ADCDA) is launching an awareness campaign called "Safe Summer" to protect children from seasonal risks. The authority is strongly urging parents to maintain continuous supervision of their children, especially near swimming pools, emphasizing that direct oversight is the most crucial defense against accidents.

ADCDA also issued a stern warning against leaving children inside vehicles, even for brief periods, particularly during shopping trips. The extreme rise in temperatures inside cars poses a significant danger. The authority is encouraging parents to proactively educate their children about safe behaviors and emergency responses. Ensuring appropriate safety measures are in place within homes and recreational areas is also highlighted as key to reducing risks.
