Abuja Rotary Club re-elects Oramah as president

Dr. Pat Oramah has made history as the first president of the Rotary Club of Abuja Sapphire to secure a second consecutive term. His re-election underscores the members' confidence in his leadership following a first year marked by significant progress and expanded humanitarian efforts.

In a historic first for the club, Dr Pat Oramah will continue in office following the expiration of his first term on June 30, 2026. The unanimous decision was a resounding vote of confidence in his visionary leadership.

The club's statement highlighted Oramah's "visionary leadership," noting that under his stewardship, Abuja Sapphire achieved unprecedented heights. This included receiving the Area of Focus Excellence Award in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene from Rotary District 9127 for impactful community projects. The club also garnered special recognition for its overall contributions to Rotary programs.

Members widely described Oramah as an "extraordinary philanthropist" and the "best President in the history of Abuja Sapphire." Beyond his Rotary duties, Oramah is the Chairman and CEO of Sepat Pharmaceuticals Company. He also actively invests in youth and sports development through the Oramah Football Academy and DECO Sports City.
