ACAOSA President congratulates alumni on college's 75th anniversary

The Aquinas College Old Students Association (ACAOSA) is celebrating a significant milestone: the 75th anniversary of St. Thomas Aquinas College, Akure. Otunba Sola Adewumi, the ACAOSA President, extended heartfelt congratulations to all alumni, both within Nigeria and across the diaspora, marking this occasion as a testament to enduring legacy.

Adewumi described the 75 years as a celebration of "seven and a half decades of academic excellence, character formation, integrity, leadership, and outstanding contributions to society." He emphasized that generations of Aquinarians have upheld these values, leaving a lasting impact both locally and globally.

During the anniversary, Adewumi took the opportunity to honor the institution's founding fathers, as well as past and present administrators, teachers, and staff. He acknowledged their sacrifices and unwavering commitment, which have been instrumental in sustaining the college's legacy and core values over the decades.

The ACAOSA president views the Platinum Jubilee as a pivotal moment for reflection and gratitude. He also called for a renewed commitment to the continued growth and development of their alma mater, urging members to strengthen the bonds of friendship, brotherhood, and service that unite Aquinarians worldwide. The celebration theme is "Celebrating 75 Years of Excellence, Integrity, and Service."
