Speaking at the "Accounting to the People" series organized by the Savelugu Municipal Assembly, Minister Mburidiba commended the assembly for embracing the initiative. He explained that this program provides a crucial opportunity for authorities to report directly to residents and other stakeholders, fostering trust and effective management. The minister stressed that transparency, prudent financial management, and active citizen participation are essential components of effective local governance.

Minister Mburidiba urged the Savelugu Municipal Assembly to continue showcasing its work, emphasizing that transparency builds public trust and ensures proper resource management. The "Accounting to the People" series is planned to be rolled out across various assemblies to enhance engagement with assembly members, stakeholders, and citizens, while also highlighting development initiatives.

He pledged the traditional council's continued support for government programs aimed at improving the living conditions of the people in the Northern Region. Similarly, the Municipal Chief Executive of the Savelugu Municipal Assembly, Mr. Alhassan Fuseini, assured that the assembly would ensure efficient use of public resources and that development projects would reach all communities within the municipality, aligning with constitutional provisions for decentralization and accountability.
