Aceh Customs Launches E-Book, Infographic on Regional Export-Import Commodities

The Aceh Customs and Excise Office has released a new e-book and infographic to showcase the region's export and import commodities. This initiative aims to enhance transparency in government data management and provide a reliable reference for the regional economy.

M. Rizki Baidillah, Head of the Aceh Customs and Excise Office, emphasized the importance of presenting data that is ready for use and easily understandable for the public. "The public has the right to clearly know the commodities that are export and import potentials in their region," he stated. He added that this data serves as a tool to understand the local economy's real condition and to inform effective fiscal policies.

Data from 2025 indicates a positive trend in Aceh's foreign trade. The energy and mining sectors were the primary contributors to export revenue, accounting for 66.98 percent. On the import side, propane and butane were the dominant strategic commodities, making up 92.12 percent of the total. These figures reinforce Aceh's role as an energy distribution hub for the northern Sumatra region.

Beyond the e-book, the office also created interactive infographics to make the data more accessible. These resources are available to government agencies, businesses, academics, and the general public on the official PPID Kanwil Bea Cukai Aceh website. The office reiterated its commitment to supporting regional economic growth and achieving a "Clean and Service Bureaucratic Region" status by 2026 through transparent and accurate data presentation.
