Acne Studios Opens First Central Taiwan Store in Taichung, Showcasing Latest Collections and Camero Bag

Swedish designer brand Acne Studios, known for its minimalist style, has expanded its presence in Taiwan by opening its fourth store and first dedicated boutique in central Taiwan. The new store is located at the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Taichung Zhonggang Store, marking a significant step in the brand's reach within the region.

The 30-ping (approximately 100 square meters) space is designed with a distinctive pink base, complemented by granite textures, plush blended wool carpets, and strip lighting. This combination aims to create a shopping environment that is both warm and avant-garde. Adding to the ambiance are the organic "Blobs" seats, specially created by furniture designer Max Lamb, contributing to a relaxed and comfortable shopping experience.

The Taichung store features Acne Studios' latest men's and women's ready-to-wear, footwear, and accessories collections, reflecting the brand's 2026 autumn/winter design language. Key elements include vintage elegance, denim, and preppy styles. The collection highlights include a cropped, oversized bomber jacket with contrasting leather lapels, blending classic Harrington jacket elements for a retro yet sleek urban look. Another notable piece is the Trompe l'oeil printed jeans, which cleverly merge denim with pinstripe suit fabric, blurring the lines between formal and casual wear.

Accessories are a major focus, particularly the Camero series, inspired by camera bags. These bags feature a soft, rectangular silhouette with multiple zippered compartments for excellent organization. Available in three sizes, the Camero bag is designed for versatility. The yellow Camero Party bag is a Taichung exclusive. The store also showcases other items like a two-tone knit top and striped trousers worn by celebrity Melinda at the opening, paired with the yellow Camero Party shoulder bag, priced at 62,000 yuan.
