Acting classes taken, Ceddy Ang wants more challenging roles

Malaysian host and influencer Ceddy Ang is eager to expand his acting career, expressing a strong desire to portray diverse characters in dramas and films. Currently, most of his appearances are limited to cameo roles that closely resemble his public persona.

"Pray that one day I can act in a movie or drama and truly play a different role. Usually, when I appear in any acting role, I'm just a cameo playing myself," Ang shared on Threads. He acknowledges that his physical appearance and height might present challenges for leading roles but believes suitable, significant characters exist for him.

Ang, who won the first season of the reality show "Malaysian Host Wanted" and a RM30,000 prize, hopes his dedication to acting will lead to more substantial opportunities. He aims to move beyond his current limitations and prove his versatility as an actor.
