“Active Vilnius” sports festival invites the city to put sport first

For three days, Vilnius will turn sport into a citywide invitation to watch, try and experience. The “Active Vilnius” sports festival runs from Sept. 4 to 6 at Lukiškės Square and the White Bridge sports complex, bringing together more than 70 clubs and organizations.

Visitors will have more than 100 activities to choose from, including open training sessions, free lessons, sports trials, championships, tournaments, extreme sports competitions, club performances, dancing and music. The festival’s slogan, “Sport is all I can think about!”, encourages people to spend the weekend immersed in movement.

The program is designed for more than committed athletes. Professionals and amateurs, coaches and competitors, families with children, young people and sports fans will share the same spaces. Some visitors can watch high-level competitions, while others can step onto the field, try a new discipline, speak with a coach or find an activity for a child.

Lukiškės Square will host Lithuania’s team functional fitness championship, IRONVYTAS bench-press competitions, the HYROX Baltics and Amber CrossFit challenge, club performances, rhythmic gymnastics, dance and mass workouts. Singer Monika Linkytė will also perform.

At the White Bridge complex, the schedule includes 3x3 basketball, beach volleyball, open training and free skateboarding lessons. Saturday will bring the WHITE BRIDGE GAMES 2026, one of Lithuania’s largest extreme sports competitions of the year, with skateboarders, rollerbladers, scooter riders and BMX cyclists. The Neris River will connect the two main sites through a mass kayaking event. The festival is free and open to everyone.
