Actor Corey Feldman hospitalized after mid-flight medical emergency

Actor Corey Feldman was urgently transported to a Los Angeles hospital following a serious medical incident during a flight. The star of "Goonies" and "Stand by Me" began feeling unwell shortly before landing at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

Fortunately, a physician among the passengers administered first aid as the aircraft approached the runway. Despite the prompt in-flight intervention, the situation was serious enough that paramedics met the plane upon arrival. The Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed they responded to a medical emergency involving a 54-year-old man at the airport.

While the fire department did not release the individual's identity, sources close to Feldman confirmed it was him. His publicist later stated that the actor was hospitalized overnight for observation and awaiting MRI results. Although a definitive diagnosis has not been made, sources suggest doctors suspect issues related to the pancreas, such as pancreatitis, or gallstones.

This incident occurred shortly after Feldman participated in a "Stand by Me Live" event in Chicago, celebrating the film's 40th anniversary. He had been sharing photos from his promotional tour on social media, appearing in good spirits just hours before the medical emergency. The tour's success had even led him to hint at potential new dates due to "incredible response" from the audience.
