Actor Lee Jae-yong has looked back on his career and spoken about living with depression for seven to eight years during an appearance on the YouTube channel “What Are You Doing These Days?”

Lee, who became widely popular for playing Mi and Wasaburo in the drama “Rustic Period,” was invited by fellow actor Jo Sang-gu. Jo played Sirasoni in the same series.

The program highlighted Lee’s low, weighty voice and sharp gaze, traits that helped create the tension of “Rustic Period.” He also discussed his years as an actor and his appearance in “Kim Bu-jang.”
