Actor Wang Kai found dead at 43; cause of death unknown pending autopsy

Taiwanese actor Wang Kai, whose original name was Wang Jianlong, was found dead in his Taipei apartment at the age of 43, sending shockwaves through the entertainment industry.

Neighbors alerted authorities after observing that food delivery orders had been left outside his door for an extended period and that he was unresponsive to their calls. Upon entering the apartment, police discovered Wang Kai lying on the living room floor, deceased. The air conditioning and television were reportedly on at the time.

An initial examination of Wang Kai's body by police and forensic experts revealed no obvious external injuries or signs of suicide. Following a judicial autopsy conducted with the presence of Wang Kai's two sisters, the cause of death was listed as undetermined.
