Actors Jin Tae-hyun and Park Si-eun reveal marathoner daughter, calling her 'family' despite legal adoption hurdles

Actors Jin Tae-hyun and Park Si-eun have shared their deep bond with marathoner Han Ji-hye, whom they consider their daughter. The couple appeared on the SBS program 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 – You Are My Destiny' to introduce Han Ji-hye, who has been living with them as family for the past two years.

Park Si-eun echoed this sentiment, highlighting Han Ji-hye's resilience and determination. She described Han Ji-hye as a child who struggled through difficult times, often feeling alone.

Although her biological parents exist, she is not in contact with them. So we thought it would be good if we could become another home for her.

Park Si-eun explained that while Han Ji-hye has biological parents, she is not in contact with them. The couple stepped in to provide a supportive home, aiming to be a "different kind of home" for her. Although legal adoption is not an option, they have formed a family unit, with Han Ji-hye calling them Mom and Dad. The couple is committed to supporting her journey as she pursues her athletic dreams.
