Actress Julia Garner divorces husband Mark Foster after six years

Actress Julia Garner, best known for her role in the series "Ozark," has divorced her husband, Mark Foster, after more than six years of marriage. The couple, who had been married since December 2019, decided to part ways.

Garner, 32, and Foster, 42, first crossed paths at the Sundance Film Festival years prior. Their connection, however, began later after they reconnected on Instagram. Garner recalled that Foster had liked her posts before she followed him back, leading to him sending her a message.

The couple became engaged in 2019 during a trip to Montana. Foster proposed by reading a poem he had written for Garner. She shared this detail in a previous interview with Vogue, recounting how he knelt after reading the poem to ask for her hand in marriage.

Later that same year, they exchanged vows in a low-key ceremony at New York City Hall. Garner told Vogue that they opted for City Hall over a larger wedding, a decision inspired by her parents who had married four decades earlier.
