Actress Nurel Baharin denies fiancé's wealthy background, confirms upcoming marriage

Actress Nurel Baharin has refuted claims that her fiancé hails from a wealthy family, clarifying that he comes from a humble background and is a businessman. The 23-year-old shared that contrary to public speculation, her partner leads a modest life, emphasizing her own ordinary upbringing. "It's not true what people are saying. Go and see my house in the village. I am just an ordinary person," she stated.

Nurel, who is set to marry in the coming weeks, admitted she never anticipated tying the knot before turning 30. She attributes this to meeting a man she describes as both kind and firm, who proactively engaged with her family. "This marriage is my biggest blessing this year," she said, noting the supportive nature of her future in-laws and her parents' understanding of her desire to marry young.

Her fiancé successfully convinced her parents, who initially hoped she would marry later, of his intentions. Nurel revealed that their courtship was brief, lasting only a year before they decided to marry, with their engagement ceremony held in November last year.
