Veteran Nollywood actress and filmmaker Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde shared joyous news on social media, celebrating her daughter Meraiah's engagement.

Meriah, who is also known as Meraiah or Mimi and works as an apparel product developer, had announced her own engagement two days prior with a post captioned "New chapter." The 26-year-old's engagement has generated significant buzz among fans and followers.

Meriah is one of four children Omotola shares with her husband, Captain Matthew Ekeinde, a pilot. The couple, married in 1996, also have children named Princess, Matthew (MJ), and Michael.
