Veteran actress Kismah Johar took early leave from her filming schedule for the drama "Gerak Khas" to attend the Palace of Justice and offer moral support to Muar Member of Parliament Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman. The 74-year-old actress stated she did not want to miss the final appeal proceedings, having followed Syed Saddiq's case closely for several years.

She added, "I have been following his developments for a long time via phone and media reports. I was confident the truth would be on his side. He himself always remained confident and surrendered to God. Alhamdulillah, this is the result."

Regarding her presence at the Palace of Justice, Kismah mentioned she had informed the production team in advance about her intention to support Syed Saddiq. She noted that if she hadn't taken leave, she would have been on the "Gerak Khas" filming set with other artists. "They have filming. Coincidentally, I have leave today.
