Adams Jr. leads Stampeders past Tiger-Cats 44-20

Vernon Adams Jr. threw his CFL-best 21st touchdown pass of the season, leading the Calgary Stampeders to a decisive 44-20 victory over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Saturday. The win marked the Stampeders' second consecutive triumph, improving their record.

Adams delivered a strong performance, completing 18 of 25 passes for 252 yards. He also managed to maintain his interception-free streak, though a Hamilton penalty nullified a potential pick. Dejon Brissett was a key target, making six catches for 109 yards, including the first-quarter touchdown from Adams.

The Stampeders extended their lead in the fourth quarter with a touchdown run from Quincy Vaughn and a 25-yard interception return for a score by Derrick Moncrief. Calgary's special teams also contributed, with Jude McAtamney kicking three field goals.

Meanwhile, the Tiger-Cats struggled, suffering their second consecutive loss and fifth in six games. Rookie Harrison Frost replaced starter Tre Ford in the second half, finishing with a touchdown pass but also an interception and a lost fumble. Kenny Lawler scored Hamilton's lone touchdown.
