Adeleke campaign DG condemns Osun attacks, urges police to prosecute perpetrators

Senator Lere Oyewumi, the Director-General of the Imole Campaign Council and Osun West Senator, has strongly condemned attacks on the homes of several Accord Party leaders. These incidents occurred on the eve of the Osun State governorship election and were described by Oyewumi as "unwarranted, cowardly and unacceptable."

Oyewumi conducted an on-the-spot assessment of some affected residences in Ikire and Ikoyi. He visited the homes of leaders including Ambali Kondo, Owodunni Abiodun, Taofeeq Ajagun, Akinola Paul, Commissioner for Energy Festus Adeyemo, Alhaji Lateef, and Nureni Owoade. Oyewumi personally assessed the extent of the damage and expressed sympathy to the affected individuals and their supporters.

"Political differences should not degenerate into violence, destruction, intimidation or attacks on the homes and properties of citizens," Oyewumi stated.
