He has directed the state's Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Gotan, to take pre-emptive measures to prevent any disruption to public order.

In a statement released Friday, Governor Adeleke described the alleged move as a "sinister ploy" to introduce chaos into the state. He highlighted the "peace and tranquillity" that have prevailed at motor parks since 2023 and vowed to prevent any resurgence of instability and conflict at these transport hubs.
