Adidas prepares new Croatia kit featuring traditional Pag lace

The Croatian national football team is preparing for a significant change in its athletic apparel, as Adidas is poised to become the new supplier of their kits, succeeding Nike from the upcoming autumn season.

This transition will mark the team's participation in the 2026 World Cup with an expanded selection of three distinct uniform sets. Alongside the iconic red-and-white checkered home jersey, fans can anticipate a traditional blue away kit and a black third kit.

A notable design element for the new blue away jersey will be the incorporation of Paška čipka, a delicate and intricate lacework originating from the Croatian island of Pag. This traditional handicraft will be woven into the fabric of the jersey, adding a unique cultural touch.

The new Adidas kits are expected to make their debut this autumn during the Nations League competition. Croatia has been drawn into Group 3, facing strong opponents such as England, Spain, and the Czech Republic. The team is anticipated to test all three new uniform designs during these matches.
